24TH ANNUAL HELSINKI INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS, 7-8 MAY 2024
In May of this year, the 24th Annual Helsinki International Model United Nations conference will be held. The theme for this year is Global Security. The pandemic had the world’s focus on it for a long time, but that focus has since shifted towards issues threatening our global security. With the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the recent advances in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the unease concerning the South China Sea, the world is largely at unease. With the topics of the conference we aim to advance the students’ knowledge about the current world situation and encourage them to discuss and think about what sort of solutions could make the world a better and safer place for us all.
